Words as Weapons

Summer institute participant Alison Ray is asking her students to use what they learn about Wright’s unique balance of artfulness and social protest as a springboard to start wider discussions. Students are asked to find examples of art as social protest in the world around them (e.g. graffiti) and to create presentations to share with their classmates and other “sister” schools.
